With the global climate change and rapid process of urbanization,the urban environment faces the challenge of frequent extreme weather,summer heat,air pollution,and a series of serious climate problems.How to make use of the urban climatic information to guide the planning and construction,inquire into the impact of urban artificial environment on the urban environment,combine the urban climate with urban planning and architectural design,is the research hot spot for planner,builders,and the content of climate scientists.The link of urban environmental climate on local scale and micro climate scale and city space form is cohesive.The study takes Shenzhen as an example,throughthe discussion of the interaction mechanism between climate and urban space,analyzes the method of urban climate assessment for different scales.In the context of urban planning,the urban climate assessment technology is constructed and the urban climate assessment practice is carried out.Under the local scale,the factors of climate from urban morphology quantification is calculated by their influence on urban climate via the method of urban climate maps in the GIS platform.In this way,seven urban climate levels of Nanshan district is assessed and the urban climate analysis map is established.Based on the urban climate analysis map and the status quo of Nanshan,climate zoning and planning structure is set up and the special climate planning comes up lately on the characteristics of different elements,such as water,ventilation,green space and so on.In the micro climate scale,the climate improvement priority area defined by the outcome of the local climate assessment is the subject of study.Through the simulation method of ENVI-Met software,the representative time period of the research area is simulated,and the microclimate status is assessed using three climate indicators.Comparison results show that in the summer afternoon,the measures of increasing the green space and reducing the building density is most suitable for the humid and high density urban environment in Shenzhen city.The measure of reducing the building volume rate can reduce the heat island effect in the night slightly,but the reduced outdoor shade will make the outdoor thermal comfort worse during the day.Based on the relationship between urban space and urban climate,the study discusses the existing climate problem by evaluating urban climate in different scales.Combined the outcome of the assessment of urban climate with the characteristics of humid heat climate and high density urban structure of Shenzhen,the guidelines and strategies of climate planning for different planning levels is summarized to provide reference for the planning design of the same type city or region,and promote the combination of urban climate information and urban space planning.
