The Design Of The Xihua Garden Landscape Based On The Dali Bai Culture

Kunming Xihua Park is located in the west of Kunming,bordered on north by the Second Ring overpass,west of by Xiba River,and south by Dianchi Lake,the park area is 7h m2.The park is located in the west of the city,which named as flowers,hence the name is:Xihua Park.The Park formerly was known as the West Dam Nursery,later it became the largestOrchid breeding base in Yunnan Province,it was rebuilt to be the park in 1984.According to the site survey,wefind that the West Garden is a bai residential building in Yunnan and the flowers and trees are complexed in garden,the park was rebuilt the nursery into a white residential garden.Xihua Park landscape has some design deficiencies according to my site survey.My graduation design is mainly based on Dali Bai culture to enhance the design of Xihua Park landscape.In my design,I will extract elements from the Bai culture to redesign it,the design elements will be reflected in the landscape to enhance the design.The whole park including the house,pavilions,gatehouse,etc.,will not only follow the construction of Bai residential buildings,retain the original Bai style,but also rich its function,make the full use of serving the West Garden.I will continue the Bai's unique architectural style,and take the Bai style and elements using in the landscape to enhance the transformation.Using the tiles,bricks,white walls and sketches of landscape painting on the wall,the park will be filled with fresh and warm,revealing the Bai's house quaint and gorgeous features.
