Belt conveyor is a kind of continuous transportation equipment in modern production.It has the advantage of large volume,long distance transportation,low energy consumption,low freight.So it has been widely used in coal,mining,ports,electricity,metallurgy,chemical and other fields.Conveyor belt is the most important part of the belt conveyor.Due to improper installation and adjustment,long term used in harsh environments and other reasons,Surface damage and longitudinal tearing failure usually happened.If the faults are not detected immediately,they will lead to serious accidents such as broken belt and longitudinal tear,resulting in loss of material production,transportation,equipment damage and casualties,seriously affecting the safety in production.In order to ensure the safety of the belt conveyor,it is necessary to study a multi view conveying belt longitudinal tearing detection system,to avoid major tearing accidents and improve the efficiency of detection.The thesis proposed a ulti-view detection system for longitudinal rip of conveyor belt with processing and transmission module.Using four-channel CCD sensors to expand the scope of collection and avoid the blind area.Designed the circuit of processing and transmission module with TI's DSP TMS320C6748.A compression algorithm based on JPEG and Log transform is proposed.Do the simulation experiment on Matlab platform.Using C language and SYS/BIOS operating system designed the software of DSP on the CCS development platform.The result of the experiment show that the module can finish the work of reading image data,compressing image data and sending the data to the computer by Ethernet.Applying this module to the multi-view detection system for longitudinal rip of conveyor belt has the advantage of high compression rate,high detection accuracy and good real-time disposal ability.Processing transmission module of this research can be applied to the belt longitudinal tearing detection system of multi view transfer,with conveyor belt image acquisition range,compression rate advantages and strong real-time performance,and has wide application prospect in coal mining,ports,electricity,metallurgy,chemical and other fields,to avoid major longitudinal tear the occurrence of safety accidents and casualties,reduce material loss,transportation equipment damage and economic losses.
