Research On Evaluation Of Water Resources Utilization Efficiency In Fujian Province

Enhancing the rate of water utilization is an important issue under the background of resource starvation and increasing growth of economic needs.The key points of this thesis are how to increase the rate of water utilization and realize sustainable development of water resource.Fujian Province has achieved a significant breakthrough in water utilization,but still not completely utilize the water resource.How to face the problem that low rate of water utilization and what measures should be implemented are issues this thesis is going to discuss.This thesis take the water-use situation of Fujian Province as investigate target,and draw a conclusion through questionnaire and analyzing the statistics.I also take evaluation methodology of world’s water resource utilization rate as a foundation,and I will come up with the relevant measures and advice according to the issues and their formation factors.The main part of thesis is as follows:In the first part,I will introduce the background and meaning of this research and present research contents and methods.There are also some summaries of efficiency theory,theory of water-use rate,sustainable development and characters of water resource utilization.In the second part,it will brief the questionnaire,and then give contrastive analysis of problems about water utilization in Fujian Province.it will describe the situation of water resource in Fujian Province and its current conditions.The consciousness of saving water is lag behind the economic development.The condition of exploit water also lag behind the economic development.The water environment getting worse and water pollution is serious.Then I use the DEA model to analyze the output and input of Fujian Province’s water resource,and come to a conclusion that in later years the GDP turned to normal is because the proper adjustments after GDP’s insufficient.In the third part,according to the above analysis,I arrive at a conclusion that it should reinforce the publicity and education to encourage everyone in society enhance the water-use rate.To change the current situation,it also needs strengthen legislation,enhance the exchanges between both sides of the Taiwan Strait,promote international cooperation of water protection,increase the science and technology input and making macroscopic strategy.
