Wheeled armored vehicles are widely used in the modern war and anti-terrorist peacekeeping operation due to its relatively high mobility and protection.However,simple exploders like mine are used as the conventional weapons to damage the vehicles and kill its crews.Regarding the wheeled armored vehicle’s suspension and mounting system as the research objects,the design parameters are optimized to improve the bottom protection ability of the wheeled armored vehicle.Firstly,thedomestic and foreign research status about the wheeled armored vehicle protection is analyzed,which determines the research method and evaluation index in this paper.Secondly,according to the theoretical analysis,the parameters of explosives,soil,air and state equations are calibrated by comparing the proposed ALE algorithm simulation flow field with the explosion test.Thirdly,the suspension,mounting finite element models and the whole cab model,which the simulation result is validated by explosion test,are established to analysis the effect of the suspension and mounting parameters on occupant injury.Finally,the optimization design for suspension and mounting system is studied by employed MOGA.The thickness of leaf spring,the damping coefficient of shock absorber and the static stiffness are variables.And the structure internal energy,the stress of experimental dummy’s shank and the mass of structure are multi-objective in the optimization mode for suspension and mounting system.The bottom protection index analysis for the result of optimization shows that,the acceleration of dummy’s shank decrease obviously.The research of this paper finds the_suspension and mounting system has apparent buffering function for explosion,and after optimization,it can reduce the occupant injury and improve the protective capability of wheeled armored vehicles’ bottom.So this paper has the certain guiding significance for improving the protective ability of wheeled armored vehicles and providing technical preparation for new wheeled armored vehicles’ research and development in a new way.
