In the context of the country promoting energy saving and environmental protection,as well as the introduction of the heat metering reform,this thesis,which aims at improving the lack of present heat metering products such as power supply and meter reading,as well as proposing a practical heat metering scheme,designed a household ultrasonic heat meter,studied the issue of remote heat meter reading and designed a remote meter reading system.According to the specific circumstances of domestic household,this thesis selected ultrasonic heat meter as a heat metering device after demonstration.With advanced time-to-digital converter TDC-GP22 and low power consumption MCU MSP430F4152 as core,design the hardware of heat meter.Meanwhile,software of the heat meter is designed.working conditions of the heat meter is verified by flow and temperature measuring experiment.This thesis studied on heat meter power supply issue and put forward a feasible scheme.Solving the problem of meter reading is the key to the implement of heat metering reform.After demonstration,this thesis proposed wired plus wireless remote meter reading solution,wired part using M-Bus,wireless part using ZigBee.Devices of meter reading system includes heat meter,concentrator and meter reading center.This thesis designed the hardware of devices of the meter reading system.Because of two communication protocols are used,this thesis designed communication rules of the network and designed the operation process of the system.Meter reading center computer is responsible for the meter reading system control and user data management.This thesis designed the computer meter reading management software with basic functions using C#language.This thesis built a simple meter reading system and proved the feasibility of the whole system.
