Folding Electric Bicycle Design Research And Application Development

Based on the theory of industrial design, this paper analyzes the design of the folding electric bicycle, and puts forward the system design elements of the folding electric bicycle and the application in the design practice.Secondly, the paper analyzes categories of the folding electric bicycle in detail, including design features, applicable to the crowd, environment etc.. It also analyzes the folding electric bicycle components system, concerned with the design of relevant factors, focuses on shape features of the different folding pattern, applicable to the crow and the advantages and disadvantages of design. And through analysis of existing design problems and the design experience, the paper systematically put forward the folding electric bicycle's seven key design elements of, which cover safety, humanization, ecological attributes, lightweight, cognitive psychology, aesthetic design, Human factors engineering and extents to the sub elements based on the seven key.Finally this paper constructs Quality Function Deployment(QFD) according to the research of design elements and market need; develops a folding electric bicycle applying product design theory to design by using 3D modeling software.This provides valuable experience and reference basis for the follow-up research.
