With the continuous progress of society, large span space structure were widely applied, structure form changes rapidly. Not only the large span but the height is increasing,so more advanced construction methods are urgently needed. The new construction model can not only ensure the installation quality and safety, but also can reduce the construction cost.Based on the summary of the traditional construction methods and new construction methods of the space structure, this thesis focuses on the study of the expansion accumulation of the super large span cylindrical reticulated shell. In the support of mature hydraulic lifting technology, it can be fast, efficient and safe to ensure the upgrade process.Firstly, the construction method and characteristics of traditional spatial structure are introduced, which contains the applicability and new construction methods and features, etc.. At the same time, the expansion accumulation hoisting method the basic idea and principle of the ultra large span cylindrical reticulated shell were analyzed. The new construction method possess high installation precision, good construction quality, short construction period, construction safety, low construction cost etc..Secondly, engineering examples of this construction method were tracking and the each block unit lifting unit among the whole process of construction are simulated by the computer simulation technology, at thesame time,the member bar with excess stress, long slenderness ratio are replaced, that can guarantee the security and stability in the process of lifting.Finally, the relevant joint in the process of lifting are studied, a set of simple, fast and safe lifting measures to ensure upgrade are obtained.Meanwhile, ANSYS is adopted to analyze the mechanics of the lifting joint, according to the weight of the lifting unit, the reasonable lifting point are selected.
