Magnetic-luminescent compounds are novel bifunctional materials with both magnetic and luminescent properties. It has become one of the most active research due to their potential applications in information storaging and transmission, displays, luminescence sensors,andfluorescenceimmunoassays.Inthisdissertation,weselect1,4,7-triazacyclononane and 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane as skeleton to introduce2,4-dimethylphenol as a cyclic amine ligand, twelve complexes of 4f and 3d-4f were constructed by using solvent evaporation method. The structure, fluorescence properties and magnetic properties of the complexes were studied in detail by means of single crystal diffractometry, infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffractometry. In chapter 1,a brief introduction of the research background and related status of the work of this paper, and it briefly summarizes and reviews the research progress of single-moleculemagnets,rare-earthcomplexluminescentmaterialsand magnetic-luminescent bifunction molecular materials.Combined with the domestic and foreign research situation, this paper systematically clarifies the basis for the topic selection and the main research content. In chapter 2,the construction of 4f and 3d-4f complexes derived from triazacycloamidophenol ligand is investigated,Different metal ion sources were selected, and eight 4f/3d-4f complexes?1-8?were successfully constructed by using solvent evaporation method. The crystal structure, magnetic properties and fluorescence properties were characterized.Magnetic investigation showed that antiferromagnetic interaction exists in the complexes 1-8,complexes 2,4 and 5 exhibit weak field induced slow magnetic relaxation behavior.Fluorescence spectrum analysis indicated that the organic ligand L3-can act as an antenna ligand to sensitize the rare earth ion emission to emit light, and the complexes 1-6 all have narrow-band characteristic emission peaks of rare earth ions.In chapter 3,the construction of mononuclear rare earth complexes derived from tetraazacyclolamidophenol ligand is investigated.Four rare-earth complexes?9-12?were successfully constructed by using isothermal volatilization with different rare earth metal ion sources, and their crystal structures, magnetic properties and fluorescence properties were characterized in detail.Magnetic investigation showed that antiferromagnetic interaction exists in the complexes 10-12,and the complex 11 exhibits very weak field-induced slow magnetic relaxation behavior.Fluorescence spectrum analysis indicated that the organic ligand L4-can act as an antenna ligand to sensitize the rare earth ions to emit light, and the complexes 10-11 all have narrow-band characteristic emission peaks of rare earth ions.
