Polyester fiber(PET)has become China's largest production of the most widely used chemical fiber.With the continuous development of society and the continuous improvement of living quality,the requirements on the properties,quality and functions of polyester fibers have also been gradually raised,which has led to the continuous development of modification technology.In order to improve the performance of polyester fiber,the current researchers have done a lot of attempts,this paper modified polyester to have visible light catalytic properties and adsorption of chromium ions.In this paper,the nitrogen atoms were doped into the crystal lattice of titanium dioxide by sol-gel method to prepare nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide powder.The sample has good photocatalytic activity and significant degradation to methylene blue.The experimental results show that the photodegradation rate of the sample reaches 90.6%after 150 minutes photodegradation,and the photodegradation rate can be maintained at 88.5%after repeated 5 times.The photocatalytic activity of nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide in methylene blue solution is related to the initial concentration of methylene blue solution,the content of NaCl and weather factors.Low concentration of methylene blue solution,low NaCl and sunny weather are favorable for visible light degradation.On this basis,the nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide powder was loaded on the polyester fabric by the homogeneous coating method to prepare the polyester fabric with photocatalytic properties.The experimental results show that the degradation rate of PET-10 reaches 94.8%after 150 minutes photodegradation.And after repeated 5 times its photodegradation rate can be maintained at 90.2%.The photocatalytic activity of the nitrogen-doped TiO2-loaded PET fabric in methylene blue solution is related to the acid-base and NaCl contents of methylene blue solution,which is favorable for visible light degradation under acidic conditions and low NaCl conditions.Nitrogen doped titania/keratin-polyester fiber membranes were prepared by electrospinning of nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide,keratin and polyester.Keratin incorporation of the contact angle decreased to 62.5° fiber membrane,improve the hydrophilic properties of the fiber membrane.This increased the contact area of nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide on the fiber membrane with the methylene blue in the solution,resulting in enhanced photocatalytic activity of the fiber membrane and a degradation rate of 88.2%after 180 minutes of photodegradation.The fiber membrane into chromium ion solution after 180 minutes of adsorption,adding keratin fiber membrane adsorption increased to 65.28mg/g.
