| In recent years,with the rapid development of energy industry and science and technology,the environmental pollution problems in various parts of the country are aggravating day by day.More and more people are aware of the importance of a comfortable living environment for their own health.In addition,the promulgation and implementation of a series of environmental protection policies and regulations,making the nanofiber efficient filter material play an increasingly important role in environmental management.When the fiber diameter decreases from micron to nanometer level,the small size effect and interface effect brought by the fining of the diameter will give the nanofiber many obvious characteristics,such as small pore size,high porosity,large specific surface area,good permeability,light and soft.This article attempts to start from the raw materials,hope that the conventional meltblown production equipment to develop a highly efficient nanofiber filter material for China’s environmental pollution problems to provide effective treatment technology,promote the development of China’s environmental protection industry and enhance China’s high-efficiency filtration market and environmental protection International competitiveness of equipment.In this paper,two kinds of low compatible blends of PP and PS,combined with meltblown and electret technology,have been developed to produce an electret melt blown PS/PP blend ultrafine fiber nonwoven filter material.The rheological properties of polypropylene(PP),polystyrene(PS)and their blends were studied.The morphology,pore size,permeability,mechanics and filtration and oil absorption properties of PP and PS/PP blend meltblown nonwoven materials were compared.The results show that the melt of pure PP,PS and PS/PP blends all belong to the shear thinning fluid,and the apparent viscosity decreases with the increase of shear rate,when the shear rate is greater than 2500 s-1,the apparent viscosity gradually tends to be smooth,on the other hand,with the addition of PS and the same shear rate,the apparent viscosity of the blends is lower than that of pure PP and PS;The PS/PP blend meltblown fibers showed significant difference in thickness.Some fibers reached below 1 μm,and the pore size and permeability of the mesh increased,but the mechanical properties decreased slightly;The filtration efficiency of PS/PP electret meltblown nonwoven material is much better than that of pure PP melt blown nonwoven material.When the flow rate is 32 L/min,the filtration efficiency of particle size of 0.26 m NaCl particles is about 99.83%,and the filtration resistance is less than 38 Pa;The material also showed good performance in oil absorption.The oil absorption rate can reach 15.8 g/g,and the absorption saturation can be achieved within 5min.The sample after oil absorption is put into centrifuge to rotate at 900 r/min,the time of centrifugation is 5 min,and the oil holding rate is 72.6%. |
