I worked in the two stage of the costume design,the opera "Cai Wenji" and the musical "Ashima".In the process of practice,I had a more direct understanding of the design features and presentation ways of two performances in different stages,not only learning and verifying a lot of professional knowledge,but also having a new thinking and examination opportunity for drama costume design.The opera "Cai Wenji" is an emotional entanglement betweenCai Wenji and the king of the left.It tells a long story and a sad history.The problems and ideas encountered in the creation of costume design are discussed in three aspects: the quality of opera,the determination of design style and the importance of material sense.The musical adaptation of "Ashima" in the ancient legends of Yunnan self biography,tells the story of a beautiful and kind-hearted girl Ashima and brave and honest Sani guy a black love,and ultimately into a poignant story of stone stone forest forever.From the three aspects of traditional understanding of musicals,the control of traditional and fashion styles and the challenges encountered in the process,I talk about myself and inspire me through this practice.Design practice is the driving force of professional progress,the process of practice will greatly broaden the artistic field of vision,practice is not only a deep understanding of design,the process is full of thinking space.
