This study analyzed and summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the existing oily wastewater treatment techniques and proposed the technical advantages of the fiber ball mechanical filter to treat oily wastewater and the main influencing factors on the mechanical filter of the fiber ball.In this paper,polyester modified fiber ball as a filter material to start the study.First of all,the changing law of filtration behavior and the effect of removing oil and turbidity in water under the two kinds of index system of fiber ball bed height and packing density were analyzed.The results showed that the overdrive effect of polyester fiber ball is proportional to the height of the filter bed and the packing density of the fiber ball.In the initial stage of filtration(T<12.0h),when the height of the filter bed and the packing density of the fiber ball are 800mm and 0.1200g/cm3 respectively,the oil removal efficiency of the filter reaches over 85.0%and the turbidity value can be reduced below 3 NTU.Secondly,the influence of the expansion rate of the fiber ball filter on the backwashing effect is analyzed.Further research on the backwashing energy consumption is made to optimize the fiber ball backwashing process and reduce backwash energy consumption.Filter backwash stage,the filter bed expansion rate for the backwash effect significantly,when the filter bed expansion rate of 25.0%,the water oil content and turbidity of backwash water is minimum;when the backwashing using 14.0L/s · m2,11.OL/s · m2 and 8.00L/s · m2,it was found that when the turbidity of the backwash water drops to the same value,the water consumption of 11.0L/s · m2 backwash rinse strength is less than 14.0L/s · m2.Finally,in view of the problems existing in the process of filtration and backwashing of the pressure plate filter,the influence of the opening rate of the pressure plate on the flow field distribution in the filter was analyzed by means of numerical simulation software FLUENT.From the point of view of fluid mechanics optimize the filter structure.The simulation results show that the CFD simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results,which shows that the method has high reliability.Secondly,the aperture ratio of the filter presser plate has a significant impact on the distribution of the filter in the backwash stage;Under different plate opening rate,the speed of the water through the pressure plate is the size of 40.0%<30.0%<20.0%.When the plate opening rate of 40.0%,the filter bed impact load is minimum,which is conducive to the formation of the ideal filter bed;Platen open rate of 20.0%when the turbulence intensity within the filter is greater than 30.0%and 40.0%of the pressure plate aperture ratio,the fiber ball filter plate knot problem disappears.Through the study of the main performance index and filter structure of the mechanical filter of the fiber ball,it provides an important theoretical basis for improving the operating efficiency of the fiber ball mechanical filter and promoting the application of the engineering.
