At present,there are lots of technologies to degrade dye wastewater,such as precipitation method,adsorption method,membrane filtration,ozone oxidation technology,oxidation technology.In this paper,methylene blue and methyl orange solution were degraded.The experimental study is divided into three parts:ultrasonic degradation of simulated wastewater alone,BiOI degradation of simulated wastewater alone and degradation of organic dye wastewater by Ultrasound combined with BiOI,the main conclusions are as follows:In the experimental of ultrasonic degradation of methylene blue solution,the effects of ultrasonic power,time were considered respectively.The results showed that when the ultrasonic power was 500W,the 10mg/L of methylene blue solution was degraded for 90 mins,and the corresponding degradation rate was 54.5%.When the initial concentration of methylene blue solution is 9mg/L,the degradation rate of methylene blue will be 51.2%.In the experimental study of ultrasonic degradation of methylene blue by BiOI.The effects of ultrasonic power,BiOI concentration and pH were considered respectively.The results showed that when the ultrasonic power was 300W,the methylene blue solution with initial concentration of 10mg/L was degraded,After 10 minutes,the corresponding degradation rate can reach 81.3%,and the degradation efficiency is improved by comparison.When the ultrasonic power is 100W,with the increase of BiOI concentration,the corresponding degradation rate will increase.Changing the pH of the solution the degradation rate of methylene blue will be lower.In the experimental on degradation of methylene blue by ultrasonic with BiOI.BiOI alone,it is concluded that the presence of ultrasound can improve the degradation rate of methylene blue solution.In the experimental on degradation of methyl orange by ultrasonic,the effect of ultrasonic power was taken into account.The results showed that when the ultrasonic power was 300W,the degradation rate was 12.6%after 80 min.The degradation efficiency of methyl orange wastewater by ultrasonic technology is not ideal,we also find that the degradation rate of methyl orange and ultrasonic power is not directly proportional relationship.The kinetic analysis of the degradation process under different power was carried out,and it was found that the degradation process accorded with the first order kinetic model.In the experimental on degradation of methyl orange by BiOI,we can conclude that BiOI concentration from 50mg/L increased to 800mg/L,The degradation rate of methyl orange wastewater has a tendency to increase.In the experiment on degrading methyl orange by ultrasonic combined with BiOI,considering the effect of BiOI concentration,when the ultrasonic power was 300W,BiOI concentration was 500mg/L,the initial concentration was 10mg/L,after degradation of methyl orange solution for 60 mins,the corresponding degradation rate reached 68.4%.In the experiment on degradation of methyl orange by ultrasound combined with BiOI,BiOI alone,you can get the following conclusions:ultrasonic technology can help BiOI effectively act on methyl orange,BiOI has a great effect on the degradation.At present,there is not much research on the degradation of organic dye by ultrasonic combined with photocatalyst.BiOI is a promising photocatalyst.In this paper,the degradation of the dye wastewater by ultrasonic and BiOI is considered,it can lay a solid foundation.
