Granite type uranium resources are abundant in the south regions of Jiangxi province,mainly mined by using horizontal slice dry filling method at present,which has problems like: large ore body need to be divided in many mining areas,bringing many difficulties to the stope production safety management;Secondly,stopes using filling method have problems like the complex recycling of top,floor and spacer pillars,low mining efficiency and high mining cost,difficult to achieve and improve production capacity.Therefore,hard rock uranium deposits in Jiangxi province need safe and efficient mining method urgently.The author carried out experimental research on the safe and efficient deep-hole caving method in XX/one uranium deposit of south Jiangxi province.The main research results are summarized as follows:(1)Study on mining design of the safe and efficient deep-hole caving method.The study includes the choice of stope structure parameters,the selection of drilling and ore removal equipments,the determination of deep hole blasting technical parameters,and the stability technology of stope ore drawing holes.(2)Field study was carried out in stope 4-2 within the scope of KT4 ore body,with sublevel deep-hole non-electric delay blasting control caving technology and concentrated ore removal at the bottom of the stope.Using air-deck charge can not only reduce the consumption of explosive,but also can guarantee a good blasting effect,with uniform rock fragments and less large ore blocks or ore fines.(3)By optimizing blasting order,initiating blasting network,and controlling explosive quantity of blasting in each time and explosive quantity in each period,four blasting mining test were carried out in the test stope,and succeeded with blasting safety(such as protections of underground facilities,protections of surface buildings and structures)and blasting effect,achieving good results.(4)Deep-hole caving method has advancements in mining technology,ore caving method,and blasting technology.The test stope achieved in effects such as improving extraction efficiency 1.3 times,improving mining strength more than one time,reducing mining costs by 23.8%,saving half time of stope extraction,and reducing fees of mining management,ventilation,water,electricity,etc.Achievements of the test can be generally applied to other mining uranium deposits in the south regions of Jiangxi province.
