With the progress of science and technology,the electromagnetic wave is harmful for the human beings and society.So,the fabrics with electromagnetic shielding performance have wide application value and research significance.This paper mainly studied the preparation of silver plating fabrics and its electromagnetic shielding fabric performance.Due to getting the fabric with no impurity,the fabrics had pretreatment.Then,the fabrics were had a chemical modification of dopamine.Finally,the silver plated fabrics were got by electroless silver plating.The silver plating fabrics have good electromagnetic shielding performance.This paper mainly explored the concentration of the dopamine,silver nitrate,glucose,and the reaction time of silver mirror reaction.And the surface morphology,chemical composition,thermal stability,conductivity and water resistance of the silver plating fabrics were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy,X ray photoelectron spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analyzer and vector network analyzer.After the experiment obtained the optimal process parameters:the concentration of silver nitrate was 120 g/L,the concentration of dopamine was 4 g/L,the concentration of glucose was 120 g/L and the silver mirror reaction time for was 90 min.The optimal resistivity was 0.1026 ± 0.02 Ω.cm.The optimal preparation of electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of silver plated fabric was 76.7 dB,could be used for shielding aerospace and military equipments.It also analyzed the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of silver plating fabrics in low concentration of silver nitrate and a high concentration of silver nitrate.The study found that when the concentration of silver nitrate is relatively low,the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of silver plating fabric in the middle level.But when the concentration of silver nitrate was above 100 g/L,the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of silver plated fabric was obviously improved,which showed the concentration of silver nitrate was very important to the effectiveness of the electromagnetic shielding of the silver plating fabrics.According to the washing standard,the silver plating fabrics were tested.After 10 times of washing,the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of silver plating fabric was 45 dB.The fabrics still had the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness.Finally,through the analysis of TG,the content of the silver particles and thermal stability of the fabrics were analyzed.The experiments showed that the fabrics without silver plating were decomposed at 100℃ rapidly.But,the silver plating fabrics were decomposed at 350℃.It could be seen that the thermal stability of the silver plating fabrics greatly improved.In 600℃,the mass fraction of silver plating fabrics was 60.83%.It meant the content of silver particles of the silver plating fabrics was 60.83%.The mass fraction of the washed silver plating fabrics was 41.82%,and the mass fraction of the silver plating fabrics without dopamine modified was 21.31%.It could be obtained that electromagnetic shielding effectiveness was proportional to the content of silver particles on the surface of silver plating fabrics.Silver plating fabrics have excellent conductivity,electromagnetic shielding effectiveness,high temperature performance,not only could be used in the field of electromagnetic shielding but also could be used for anti-static fabric,antibacterial,electrode,catalysis and so on.It had very large the commercial value and application prospect.
