Once appeared since 1991,carbon nanotubes(CNTs)have attracted more and more attention because of their excellent mechanical,electrical and thennal properties.As a consequence,the study about CNTs/polymer composites became more important.Polyamide,which is widely used in industry,belongs to polymer material,and its mechanical property is well.There are already many studies about improving mechanical property,thermal property,crystal property of polyamide by adding a low mass fraction(less than 2%)of multiwall carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs).However,researches concerning the influence of high mass fraction(higher than 2%)of MWCNTs is little.Consider the low mass fraction of MWCNTs is hard to form conductive network,the challengeable problem is how to maintain an even dispersion while the mass fraction of MWCNTs become higher.A series of high mass fractions polyamide 6(PA6)/multiwall carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)composites(the highest mass fraction of MWCNTs up to 10%)were prepared by melt-blending method.The composites were characterized using SEM,DSC,TG,XRD and electrical conductivity testing to determine the specific characteristics of the composites.The results show that,the MWCNTs are evenly dispersed throughout PA6 matrix.The crystallization behavior and thermal property as well as crystalline structure of PA6 matrix are changed as the mass fraction of MWCNTs increases.The electrical conductivity of composites reaches 14.29 S/m when the mass fraction of MWCNTs is 10%.Furthermore,to facilitate the conductivity of PA6/MWCNTs composites,this study uses solution mixing-followed by inject molding procession and prepared series of composites include PA6/MWCNTs,PA6/GO,PA6/MWCNTs/GO.By doing this,composites combined the electrical property of MWCNTs and Seebeck property of GO werw prepared.The Seebeck coefficient of PA6/MWCNTs/GO sample with 10%mass fraction is 0.60?V/K.
