With the continuous application and understanding of horizontal wells,the economic benefits of horizontal wells are becoming increasingly evident.Horizontal wells crawlers are born in horizontal well technology and appear as a very efficient tool and are now used in various Logging,perforation,looking for water,generally by the people's warm welcome,with a good development trend.The crawler has many advantages,it can carry its own power source,do not need external power,and its own quality is very light,easier to transport,when used in the operation is also easier,and when the detection equipment can be accurate To reach the detection location,these advantages of the crawler make the cost of logging significantly reduced.In this paper,through the study of the working principle of the traditional crawler,combined with the basic theory of dynamics,an optimization scheme of the design of the crawler drive mechanism is put forward,the optimal design and analysis of the crawler drive mechanism is carried out,and the virtual prototyping technology is applied to Crawler research,the main carried out the following aspects of the study:(1)domestic and foreign literature,patent research.This paper analyzes the current situation and advanced technology of horizontal well crawler at home and abroad,points out the shortcomings of existing products,and clarifies the development trend of horizontal well crawler.The characteristics of the virtual prototyping technology and the development of the status quo at home and abroad were investigated,summarized,clear the horizontal wells crawler applications.(2)the establishment of the mechanical model of the drive mechanism.In the basic working principle of the crawler drive mechanism,the mechanical model of the drive mechanism is established,and the various parameters of the traction force are obtained.In the actual operation,the crawler should be reduced under the condition of satisfying enough traction The spring force of the device.(3)Parametric modeling of the crawler drive mechanism is carried out.Through the optimization of the design variables,the optimal values of the objective function are obtained by the components of the crawler drive mechanism.The optimum size of the crawler is obtained by comprehensive analysis combination.(4)The virtual prototype of the crawler drive mechanism is established,the virtual prototype is assembled,and the kinematic theory is used to establish the kinematic constraint equation of the driving mechanism.Through the dynamic simulation of the virtual prototype,the relationship between the diameter of different driving wheel and the size of different pipe is obtained,and the optimum size of the diameter of the crawler drive wheel is determined according to the relationship.(5)Using the finite element simulation software,the gear shape of the crawler drive wheel is optimized to obtain the best parameters of the gear shape.In this paper,the optimal size of the drive mechanism is obtained by optimizing the structure of the crawler drive mechanism and the comprehensive analysis,which provides a reference for the future improvement and design of the crawler.
