The paper have prepared lavender fragrant microcapsule by microcapsule technology, and the slurry is added to the viscose spinning solution for blending spinning in order to prepare aromatic viscose fiber with rich and lasting aroma.Firstly, the paper have studied the common wall and core material of aromatic microcapsules, selected the melamine resin as the wall material and lavender essential oil as the core material for aromatic microcapsules ultimately.Secondly, the paper have prepared the lavender/melamine resin microcapsules by in-situ polymerization, and tested the surface morphology, particle distribution, embedding rate, thermal stability, acid and alkali resistance. The results showed that microcapsules had a irregular spherical, 1.611 um of d(90%), 6% of embedding rate, excellent acid and alkali resistance, it was completely suitable for the environment of viscose fiber spinning.Thirdly, the prepared aromatic microcapsules were added to the viscose spinning solution to make the blended film, and the subject tested viscosity, surface morphology, mechanical property and swelling property of the blend films. The results showed that the microcapsules could form stable and homogeneous blending system with viscose spinning solution, the viscosity of the blended spinning solution was less than the viscosity of pure viscose spinning solution, and the viscosity of blended spinning solution decreased along with increasing supplementation of microcapsule slurry, decreased with increasing temperature at the same time; the microcapsules in the blended membrane were preserved intactly, the breaking strength and elongation of mixed membrane showed a decreasing trend with increase of the supplementation of microcapsule slurry, and the swelling degree was higher than pure viscose film. The protocol C(100ml spinning solution to add 1g microcapsule slurry) were selected for follow-up experiment based on the above experimental results.Then, the paper prepared lavender aromatic viscose fiber by using wet-spinning and basic performance were tested. The results showed that: the initial modulus, breaking strength and elongation were slightly lower than ordinary viscose fiber, but the thermal stability were slightly higher than ordinary viscose fiber. The residual formaldehyde content of the aromatic viscose fibers were tested,the results showed that the amount of residual formaldehyde was 16mg/Kg, in line with national standards.Finally, the fragrant properties of aromatic viscose fiber were tested by simulation method and UV Spectrophotometry,the results showed that aromatic viscose fiber had good fragrant performance under natural conditions, what's more, the fragrant rate of fiber was 3% after washing 20 times, the fibeshad a certain flavor.
