Double-column stacker is an important product of logistics industry in the new era,which has a great influence on the system performance. There are many problems in the traditional stacker such as unreasonable structure parameters, low operation efficiency,poor vibration stability and so on. Aiming at these above problems, the paper researches structure design and optimization of double column stacker.First, the structure design of stacker is defined through analyzing performance metric and working environment of the stacker, and the 3D modeling and assembly of stacker are designed in 3D design software NX8.0. The fuzzy control model of running speed of stacker is built through theoretical analysis for the swing of column, and the velocity variation law of stacker is analyzed during operation. The Simulink Blockset is to build the swing simulation system of column for the stacker, and positively correlated relationship between the acceleration and swing of column is obtained by the system. The finite element analysis of ANSYS Workbench is applied to force analysis of the stacker under dangerous conditions, and the stress and deformation of the stacker are obtained. At the same time, the prestressed and non- prestressed modal analysis of the stacker are carried out, and the first ten orders of natural frequency and mode shapes of the stacker are calculated in these two cases. The vibration characteristics of system then are obtained.Finally, the mathematical model of dynamic optimization design is established for the structure system of stacker and two different optimization objectives of the stacker are set up respectively. The structure optimization design of stacker is made in optimization design module of ANSYS. The structural optimization scheme is obtained through comprehensive comparison of different dynamic optimization objectives, which meet the requirements of dynamic stiffness and light mass. It realizes that the quality of stacker is light, and the dynamic and static performance is better.
