The Study Of “locality” In School Uniform Design

This article analyses and summary the defect of Chinese Uniform,which has reflected in the part of fundamental protected functional design,national culture and sustainability recycle system.The Writer chooses Jinxiu Yaozu County 6Xiangxiang Central Primary School as the practical case,using plentiful uniform design theories to do the research of “localized” Chinese Uniform.When Author has a deep communication with the School manager and students,we realized that local students and teachers all have an expectation and a recognition for the appreciation with Chinese traditional culture.However,the traditional Chinese Uniform is not fitting with the real life.Writer has compared with a similar type primary school(Jinxiu Yaozu County Ethnic Primary School),analysis the pros and cons of modified ethnic Uniform,and to give a design consideration for 6 Xiangxiang Central Primary School.We aim to balance the problem of traditional culture and modern society,to design a more suitable uniform for students.Considering the functional design of school uniform according to the environment of school life,the life style of student and physiological factor of student.To solve the functional problem of school uniform through the material selecting and the design of uniform.reflecting the feature of national traditional culture through the detail of uniform designing.And writher try to resolve phenomenon of uniform wasting through settling a circulating system contained producing,using and recycling of uniform.According to the special condition and situation of the 6 XiangXiang Central Primary School,writer has designed a localized uniform for them.This uniform not merely accord with local appreciation with beauty,but also suitable for the special environment of Jinxiu.Similarly,when consider the diversity of Chinese ethnic,this kind of design might become a trend of Chinese Uniform.In the different places of China,students should have their own traditional ethnic uniform.
