Barite and fluorite are two kinds of important non-metallic mineral resources,widely used in all aspects of social production.With the development of our society,barite and fluorite resources consumption is also growing,high-grade and optional single barite and fluorite is less and less,low-grade and selecting suitable mixed barite and fluorite is relatively more.Therefore,it is economic significance and social significance to comprehensively utilize the comprehensive utilization of mineral resources.Barite and fluorite are often symbiosis together,so develop an effective separation method for them is the comprehensive utilization of barite and fluorite resources in an important way.The barite fluorite paragenesis mineral in Guizhou is the main research object of this paper.This paper made a detailed information research and analysis summary about characteristics of barite ore and fluorite ore resources in China?mineral processing and utilization status of two kinds of ores and the separation of barite and fluorite.On this basis,the research methods and ideas of this paper are determined,and the specific research program and research content are defined.Through the study of process mineralogy of raw ore,we find out the composition and content of the minerals in the ore,the main properties of the mineral,disseminated relation and granularity characteristics etc.according to the ore properties,combined with sorting requirements,we make the principle flowsheet which the barite concentrate is first output from the raw ore by classification gravity concentration and then the fluorite concentrate is output from the middlings of gravity separation by flotation.Ore material composition analysis results showed that the main chemical elements of ore for Ba,Ca,F,O;main mineral is barite,fluorite,grade of bariter is 67.19%,fluorite grade is only 19.61%,gangue mineral is calcite,quartz,K-feldspar,trace amounts of goethite,dolomite and tremolite.From the point of view of sample density distribution,density is mainly distributed in 3.1<d?3.2(accounting for 23.21%),and 4.4<d?4.5%(59.66%)this two interval.The results show that the ores have good conditions of getting the qualified barite concentrate by gravity concentration.Raw ore is divided into two fractions after crushing,the coarse level(-5+0.45mm)minerals in jigging gravity separation and obtain the grade of BaS04 for 93.89%,the recovery rate for 70.76%barite concentrate.The barite concentrate can achieve quality standards about the special-grade of barite for drilling fluid and the premium grades of barite for chemical industry.fine fractions(-0.045mm)minerals in spiral concentrator,BaSO4 grade is 91.21%and recovery rate is 15.43%.The barite concentrate can achieve quality standards about the grade one of barite for drilling fluid and the grade one of barite for chemical industry.Jigging middling as gravity separation mine I flotation of fluorite,chute middlings and jigging tailings as barite mine II flotation of fluorite.Chute tailings discarding tailings.Gravity separation middlings I grinding ore flotation fluorite with collector oleic acid,inhibitor tannin,CMC and acid water glass,then can be obtained CaF2 grade of 97.23%,recovery rate is 55.49%,by one roughing,two swept separation and seven cleaning operation closed circuit.It can achieve quality standard of the grade two powder fluorite concentrate.Gravity separation middlings ?grinding ore flotation fluorite,with collector oleic acid,inhibitor tannin,CMC,acidized water glass,get CaF2 grade 94.74.%recovery rate is 16.53%by one roughing,five cleaning operation open process.It can achieve quality standard of the grade four powder fluorite concentrate.The above mentioned indexes were verified by the test of heavy floating combined process.The paper finally has carried on the multi element analysis to different concentrate products properties,the heavy tailings,flotation tailings,flotation concentrate the sedimentation experiment research,respectively,for the industrial production ore concentrate,tailings enrichment equipment selection provides the basic data.It is expected that the concentration equipment such as the vibration inclined plate thickener for various products to concentrate and dehydration in the actual production will achieve very good effect.Through to Guizhou barite fluorite symbiotic ore beneficiation test,achieve the comprehensive recovery of barite and fluorite resources,provides a reference for the comprehensive utilization of the similar ore resources.
