| An open numerical control innovation experiment platform was developed in view of the existing NC platform closed, single function, system can not adapt to this professional teaching model and experimental system. A comprehensive practice, innovative design of learning environment is provided with studying the structure of the CNC system, the system hardware designing, installation, operation, programming, the secondary development of system function, the innovation of the system software design and so on. The independent ability, development capability, and applied ability of the engineering can be fostered combining with the CDIO teaching mode which letting student independent conception—design – implement – operating.The main research content as follows basing on the analysis of the current situation on the basis of the numerical control system:(1) The numerical control teaching experiment platform modular design train of thought, which includes selection of the control system, modular design, interface program and parameter settings, and experimental design, was determined according to the analysis of CNC machine tool motion control principle and composition. Finally, the test bench of modularization design scheme was determined, and HUST CNC H6D- 3 with three axis control system was selected as platform. Solidworks was used to develop the three-dimension model, and the key components were bought to set up CNC experimental platform.(2) Firstly, the PLC of HUST CNC H6D-3 controller, interface, coordinate axis, error compensation, and the parameters of communication characteristics were introduced. Secondary, the composition structure of the CNC program and writing process was introduced. Thirdly, the NC platform system interface development and PLC application was analyzed, and the designing scheme of software development of HUST control system and human-computer interface was determined.(3) Through the experiment of setting up HUST CNC platform, host computer interface and PLC control designing, the modular and open advantages of CNC system designed in the topic were gave full play. Furthermore, the relevant experiment of mechanical combination assembly, man-machine interaction contact surface development and PLC control system and so on were provided.The CNC platform developed in the topic has the following advantages:(1) it has good openness, and secondary development can be proceed expediently, and it size up the requirement of numerical control talents cultivation;(2) it uses modular design method, including movement execution modular, control system modular, port modular and so on, and it can implement different numerical control platform of restructuring development to achieve different numerical control platform of development expediently. |
