In recent years, the drilling industry is developing rapidly, with the increasing drilling depth, the bottom hole temperature and pressure is gradually increasing, which presents a series of high temperature and high pressure simulation technique problems for instrument development.This paper proceeds a design of high temperature and high pressure simulation testing system for instrument development. Based on the sufficient investigation of high pressure and high temperature simulation technique domestic and abroad, The main function of this system is designed to test the sensitive components of the instrument in high temperature and high pressure environment, determining the safety and reliability at high temperature and pressure, in order to verify the instrument’s stable performance in practice, solving issues such as high risky, obtaining accurate test data inconvenience, difficult to be adjusted and expensive testing spend in practical field trials.This paper designed a high temperature and high pressure simulation testing system for instrument development, based on the collection of related information and analysis of high temperature and high pressure simulation technology domestic and abroad. Complete the high pressure vessel design, preferred materials and strength check and finite element analysis to verify the feasibility of the design, for the implementation of the system for each part of the functions of the hardware selection, programming and developed a data acquisition system based on Lab VIEW, according to the needs of the test, the system includes a user landing, parameters setting, temperature and pressure data acquisition and real-time display, data analysis, data storage, alarm and other functions. Finally, to complete the assembly of the whole testing system, and integrated debugging of hardware and software, through real-time temperature and pressure data acquisition, as well as high temperature and high pressure instrument sensitive element performance testing to verify that the system meets the design objectives.A mass of tests show that the high temperature and high pressure simulation testing system design theory is correct, it has reasonable structure and it is convenient to operate, thereby, it proves that the system has a certain practicality and good application prospect.
