The development of a city gradually fosters different functional regions,such as residential areas,educational areas and commercial areas.which support different needs of people's urban lives and serve as a valuable organizing technique for framing detailed knowledge of a metropolitan.These regions may be artificially designed by urban planners,or naturally formulated according to people's actual lifestyle.and would change functions and territories with development of a city.The accurate identification of urban functional areas is of value to the following three aspects.First,it allows people to quickly understand a city and grasp the structure of urban space.First,it allows people to quickly understand a city and grasp the structure of urban space;Second,it helps to compare the results of urban planning implementation,and to some extent contribute to future planning;Third,is conducive to the location of business and advertising.Taking Beijing as an example,based on the basic geographic information data of Beijing,this paper studies the theory of Multi-Source data fusion and the distribution of functional areas in Beijing by using the theories and methods of spatio-temporal analysis and data mining.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:?1?A method of POI data fusion based on D-S evidence theory is proposed.First,Baidu map and Gaode map POI data set are de weighted and coordinate corrected.D-S evidence theory is applied to POI matching of two data sets,and then the matching data sets and single item sets that do not find matching data are fused.According to the latest version of the 2011 city land classification in land use planning and construction standards,combined with the city of Beijing,city facilities distribution,POI data will be divided into commercial,financial,corporate,residential,leisure and entertainment,medical service,scientific research and education,as well as Scenic Park Plaza 8categories.?2?A method of urban functional area division based on quantitative identification is studied.First on the road network of Beijing city is obtained by pretreatment of cells and of KM,POI data classification of map matching,next to a unit of each district of city,construct the index frequency density?frequency density,FD?category?and the proportion of ratio,CR type?,through the two indicators to identify the functional properties.The final extract Beijing city single function and mixed function area.Among them,the number of mixed function area units is 1132,most of which are distributed in the urban central area,followed by a single functional area,868,accounting for a large proportion.The smallest number of empty area is 570,mostly distributed in the urban fringe area.?3?A method of urban functional area boundary extraction based on kernel density estimation is proposed.The kernel density of POI is calculated first,then the boundary threshold of different functional regions is determined by characterizing the relation between the density value D and the theoretical radius(?9?^?1/2?,Then the boundary of different functional regions was extracted,And compare the Baidu map to verify the results of the extraction.
