In this study,ocean mesoscale eddies and nearshore currents are studied using satellite altimeter data and field measurements of ADCP et al.The first part of the study,with the characteristics of wide coverage,high temporal resolution and spatial resolution,are usually used to have a real-time observation on the surface currents of the large area of sea.There is a study on the propagation characteristics and intensity changes mesoscale vortices in the waters near the Bashi Channel by using the sea surface satellite altimeter data from 1992 to 2014.The results of the following studies are as follows: the mesoscale vortices on the east side of the Bashi channel have the characteristics of westward propagation,and the propagation characteristics of part of vortices are basically the same as Rossby wave.Some of vortices with greater intensity can propagate westward across the Bashi channel continually.The mesoscale vortices have an obivous variation with the season.The number of warm vortices in summer is more than that of cold vortices,and the intensity of warm vortices is greater than that of cold vortices.On the contrary,the number of cold vortices in winter is more than that of warm vortices,and the intensity of cold vortices is greater than that of warm vortices.On the other side,Kuroshio also has a great effect on the meso-scale eddies on the east side of the Bashi Strait,it can make the mesoscale vortices on the east side of the Bashi Strait shift to the north.The second part of the study,using the actual data obtained by ADCP and other instruments,the sea area around the Ant Island of Jinzhou Bay in Dalian was observed.There is a study on the flow field and Residual flow of Dalian Jinzhou Bay Mayi island Surrounding water,based on the the ship ADCP observation and fixed-point ADCP observation data of Dalian Jinzhou Bay Mayi island Surrounding water from Dalian Ocean University in June and July 2016,which are dealt with matlab and other procedures.The results show that the ocean currents in the southwest of the island are relatively stable,with a concentration of 0.5m / s-0.7m / s and the direction for the southwest.In a short period of time,the size and direction of the ocean currents in the island chang relatively small,but in a long period of time those of the ocean currents in the island have a quite obvious change.The size and direction of the deep ocean currents are more stable than those of the surface of ocean currents.The residual flow on the north side and the south side of Dalian Jinzhou Bay Mayi island is relatively stable and does not change with the change of the water depth.The residual flow on the east side is more complicated.With the increase of the water depth,the strength gradually increases and the direction changes greatly.
