The solar activity varies with 11-year sunspot cycles,22-year Hale cycles and two-century cycles.Predicting the future condition of solar activity appear to play an important role in planning for space mission and climate prediction.It also has been a hot topic among researchers.This paper discussed the relationship between the planetary synodic index and the orbital motion of the sun,and found the length of Hale cycles had a good relationship with the nearest distance between the sun and the mass center of the solar system.The finding can provide a new method and idea for forecasting and inversion Hale cycle and discussing the climate change.The main conclusions show as follows:1.Obtaining the length of Hale cycle by adding the reliable sunspot records.Using the planetary synodic index,It can get the nearest distance between the sun and the mass center of the solar system of the orbital motion of the sun.When the numerical value is small,the corresponding length of the Hale cycle is short and vice versa.The correlation coefficient is 0.774.The value of the nearest distance between the sun and the mass center of the solar system has a period of two-century(about 198a).This could be the reason for the same cycle of climate and yearly total radiation(199.6a).2.Shorter solar cycles usually along with the more average sunspot of the cycle and the more active sun.The mechanism maybe:When the value of the nearest distance between the sun and the mass center of solar system is small,on the premise of the conservation the angular momentum in the whole solar system,the angular momentum of the sun rotation increases,and the intense solar activity.3.There has long been debate in whether the solar cycle 4 contained two cycles,according to the inversion of solar Hale cycle,found the Hale cycle with cycle 4 is a short cycle,this theory can support the cycle 4 had lost a cycle.4.There has been a close relationship between the solar cycle length(SCL)and climate change,and found similar variations of Hale cycle and climate change.The length of Hale cycle can be as an indicator of solar activity in the sense that a shorter cycle means higher activity,and vice versa.In the recent 15 years,the increasing greenhouse gases have not along with global warming.The reason maybe the in the longer Hale cycle which has given counteraction.There will be a much shorter Hale cycle beginning at the latter half of 2020 AD,along with the intense solar activity.It can contribute to global warming till the middle of 2041 AD.
