As an age of knowledge and information, the 21st century witnessed a dramatic increase of literature from different disciplines as well as all kinds of knowledge databases, such as CNKI and Web of Science. How to find important information quickly about core authors, key literature and important journals from vast amounts of literature resources has become the focal issue among researchers. By analyzing scientific collaboration network and citation network, we can explore the important information that is hidden in a large amount of literature.This thesis constructs corresponding network models based on archives science field and molecular communication field. Through it, we can find the influencing scholars through the analysis on author cooperation in domestic archives field; we can also reveal key literature, core journals, and the research frontiers in the molecular communication fields based on social network and visualization analysis method. The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1. With regards to scientific collaboration network, we probe into the author cooperation network based on the average path length, centrality, degree distribution, network density, all of which are contained in the complex network theory. Taking domestic archives science as an example, this thesis finds out that the network in this field takes on the small word phenomenon and a scale-free feature. Meanwhile, the result of the author influence analysis indicates that this method of analysis has a good feasibility. Moreover, this thesis also analyzed the differences and similarities between domestic and international author networks in the same field, and that in different fields.2. With regards to citation networks, this thesis designed a weight network based on literature citation relationship and citation frequency, and analyzed knowledge evolution process with the index of the centrality of social networks. Taking molecular communication as an example, the thesis evaluated the key literature, research frontiers, and important and influencing journals in this field.Both author collaboration network and citation network are special cases of complex networks. Author cooperation network can help us find social relations among scholars in certain fields, provide a new perspective for evaluating the academic influence of researchers, and discover the researchers who are worthy of attention. Citation network helps to reveal the structure of knowledge in a field, and sort out the development of knowledge in that field. The studying of the two kinds of network of scientific research field is of great significance in enhancing researchers' ability, improving scientific research efficiency, and promoting the rapid development of the field.
