As we all know, in practical life, time-delay exists in various control systems, due to system intrinsic property, delayed feedback control action and limited measuring means, and so on. And the emergence of time-delay is often the significant cause of instability and the serious deterioration in the system performance, so a number of researches have carefully studied time-delay systems. This paper mainly considers a global stabilization problem for high-order nonlinear systems with time-delays. The main results include:(?) Global stabilization problem for a class of high-order nonlinear systems with mul-tiple time delays. The creations are that the investigated systems included both unknown control pa-rameters and unknown multiple time delays, and the orders of nonlinearities can take values in certain intervals. Time-varying method combined with adaptive technique is used to capture the possible unknowns and delayed states. The new control strategy is presented based on homogeneous domination idea and the choice of a Lyapunov func-tion which guarantee the globally asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. And a physical model is used to validate control strategy.(?) Global adaptive stabilization of a class of high-order uncertain nonlinear systems.The innovations are that applying dynamic gains compensates the uncertainties of systems and the growth condition on nonlinearities is further relaxed to a general region. Choosing the Lyapunov function and using a combined method of adaptive technique and adding a power integrator, a state feedback controller based is designed to guarantee the equilibrium globally asymptotically stable. Then, a numerical simulation is used to verify the effectiveness of control design.In a word, in terms of adaptive control for the high-order time-delay uncertain non-linear systems, this paper not only offers a control design strategy, but also provides some useful methods and techniques for the applications which play a certain positive guide.
