The Reserch On Demand-Driven Of Tobacco Manufacture's Distribution Logistics

Chinese government started a state-monopoly administration on tobacco industry,all tobacco related economical activities were under the administration of China National Tobacco Corporation(CNTC),including manufacturing and selling.In 2014,CNTC requested an innovation from plan-driven production to demand-driven production,hoping to establish collaboration among industrial and commercial enterprises,on the facing market and fast response.During recent years G corporation(GC)had a rapid growth in tobacco brands,thus it is under the dual pressure of keep the tobacco brands growing in scale,and improving in structure at the same time.Plus the innovation requested by CNTC,G corporation will have to change its corporation strategy from scale-speed to quality-efficiency,and change its marketing mode from sales channel pushing to retail endpoint pulling.Therefore,a “timely,visible,simplified,recurrently” lean logistic system can provide G corporation a powerful support on its sustainable development.This paper studied the logistic systems of tobacco manufacturing corporations,discussed the key elements of a tobacco logistic system,the current status of tobacco industry logistics and its developing.Based on lean supply chain and VPT process optimization theory,we analyzed the logistic procedure of selling process in G corporation,elaborated the specific optimizations on organization structuring,establishing reservation-arrival mechanism,harmonized management,harmonized operating,transportations and warehousing collaboration,communicating,transportation vendors management,logistic monitoring,etc.We focused on systematically raising timely arrival rate,we are able to organize optimization plans and test them in real production circumstance,and a brief introduction of evaluation on such plans is included.In the China's New Normal,tobacco logistics should change from administrative planning to lean management,we hope our thoughts and words can be referenced in the tobacco industry efficiency and overall benefit improvement.
