Rivers were the headstream of human civilization and had very important significance to human beings.However,with the development of the society,the exploitation and utilization to resources and environment were intensified day by day which made huge destruction to rivers.The type of land-use along a river was a direct manifestation of human’s development and its change would produce the non-negligible influence to the river system.Therefore this article did the research start by studying the land-use change conditions along the river.The article carried on research with current problems of HuiHe River and summarized the ecological management concepts to come up with the targeted measures of the river ecological management by researching the land-use change,field investigation and data query.The major research results are as follows:(1)The region along the HuiHe River in Ningwu County was selected as the research area to study the land-use change condition.With the analysis of the four periods land-use conditions and the transfer conditions of all kind of the land-use type in different times,the study found that the proceed of urbanization and modernization were quicker and quicker along HuiHe River,the area of construction land was constantly increased and occupied numerous farming land and water area.The water area of HuiHe River such as watercourse and the inland tidal flats had been occupied and it destroyed the nature condition of HuiHe River.(2)Based on the research to land-use change of the region along HuiHe River,field investigation and data query,the facing problems of HuiHe River were summarized:managed HuiHe River overuse engineering measures,the unreasonable land-use on the floodplains,the development of urbanization polluted the river and the development of agriculture and animal husbandry destroyed the environment of the river.Facing the problems,the ecological river management concepts were summarized as follow:the storing water paradigm,the new water management paradigm and the principles of storing water on the floodplain.These concepts expounded the nature law of the water movement in river systems and could make scientific guidance to river management work.According to the river management concepts above,the ecological river management models design were putting forward for HuiHe River aimed at the past engineering approaches,the unreasonable land-use conditions and water&soil erosion.They are flood diversion net on the floodplain,watercourse pool-run-riffle and ecological bank&slope protection.The flood diversion net can make full use of the permeable land to assist water infiltration on the floodplain by combining the current land-use condition along HuiHe River.The watercourse pool-run-riffle is targeted to the destroyed watercourse and it contributes to recover the nature features of the river.The ecological shore&slope protection is targeted to the regions that have a severe water&soil erosion condition,it sets vegetation with earth rock material on the river bank and the impounding micro-basin,the impounding swales along the contour line and the counter-slope impounding terrace on the slope to prevent the water and soil erosion.The research above shows that the land-use change has made a far-reaching influence to river and they are almost negative and difficult to have a radical change so that we must change the river use pattern in the future and reinforce the notion of using land thinking from the river.The engineering concepts on river management should be change to the ecology principles.The ecological river management models design in this article is combined with the situation of HuiHe River and the ecology principles,and it has good ecological,economic and social benefits. |
