Empirical Research On Tourism Economic Effect Of Hunan Province

In 2014,total tourism income of Hunan Province exceeded 304.619 billion yuan,accounting for 11.26 percent of the province's GDP,the rapid development of tourism on economic growth,the tertiary industry employment,optimize the industrial structure,narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas gradually prominent role.Up to now,however,quantitative studies on the economic effects of tourism in Hunan Province is relatively small.Therefore,we focus on the main economic effect of tourism in Hunan Province,the empirical analysis combined literature and related theories.The first chapter describes the background and significance,combed the literature.The second chapter introduces the rich tourism resources in Hunan Province,and the development of domestic and international tourism markets.Hunan domestic tourism revenue showed steady growth,but there is a big gap between each prefecture-level city.And inbound tourism revenue fluctuations,vulnerability to external events affect political events,unexpected events,territorial disputes.From2001 to 2013,the largest inbound tourism source countries,Hunan Province has been South Korea,South Korean tourists to Hunan tourism is increasing.The Chapters 3 to 6 describe that tourism of Hunan Province effects on economic growth,employment of the third industry,industrial restructuring,the income gap between urban and rural areas.In the study of tourism on economic growth,the tertiary industry employment,static panel model when industrial restructuring effects.Dynamic panel model in the study of its effect on the urban-rural income gap,using the system GMM estimation method to estimate the model.The results showed that:Hunan tourism on economic growth has significant role in promoting the provincial government in 2006 to establish tourism as a "pillar industry," the major decisions have a significant impact on economic growth;tourism has low barriers to employment,employment characteristics of large capacity,its tertiary industry has a significant role in boosting employment,when the total tourism revenue every 1%increase in employment in the tertiary industry increased by an average 0.083%;In the international financial crisis period,the original unsustainable model of economic growth,which is Chinese economic restructuring both a tremendous pressure and Forced mechanism,but also provides significant new opportunities.Accelerate the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure is an important aspect of promoting economic restructuring,it is an effective way to improve the overall quality of the national economy.The tourism industry is the third industry,the development of tourism can promote industrial restructuring.The total tourism revenue increased by1% increase in the average rate of industrial structure optimization 3.78 percentage points,indicating that the development of tourism in Hunan province industrial restructuring have significantly promoted;the rich tourism resources in rural Hunan Province,in recent years,"the development of a hole,rich a village "," developing an area,a town rich " typical of everywhere throughout Hunan Province,and the current urban-rural income gap is building a socialist harmonioussociety must be solved,and will be conducive to the development of tourism increase farmers' income and thus narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas.The total tourism revenue increased by 1% to reduce the income gap between urban and rural average 0.372 units,indicating the development of Hunan tourism conducive to narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas.Finally,in Chapter 7 of the detailed proposals for promoting the further development of tourism in Hunan Province.
