With the rapid development of China's economy,a large number of outstanding enterprises,which makes it more and more job opportunities,can be accepted to a good professional ability to exercise.Meanwhile,the Chinese government has formulated a series of preferential policies for overseas talent.These two aspects makes more and more people working or studying in overseas choose to return to come back.These outstanding returnees with a good competitive advantage in the domestic enterprises serve as an important position,and even join into the ranks of the top management team.In the domestic enterprises as senior managers,their unique overseas work or study experience will play an important role in their values and cognitive basis.In addition,due to the overseas outstanding enterprise promoted continuously innovative idea,returnees always show a positive attitude on the innovation.At present,many enterprises in our country are not very deep understanding of innovation,and innovation is the core of enterprise sustainable development.In our country's market environment,whether the overseas experience of the top management team can promote the innovation of domestic enterprises,and improve the enterprise's innovation performance becomes the content of this paper.On the basis of consulting documents,this paper divides the overseas experience of top management team into overseas functional experience,overseas industry experience,overseas education experience,and then analyzes the influence of these three experiences on innovation performance.At the same time,it also analyzes whether the research and development strategy has a mediating effect between the overseas experience and the innovation performance of the top management team.The study found that the overseas functional experience of the top management team and the overseas industry experience will have a positive impact on the innovation performance,while the influence of the educational experience of the top management team on the innovation performance is not big.R & D expense input intensity play a part of the intermediary role in the overseas functional experience of the top management team,overseas industry experience and innovation performance.Research and development model in the executive team overseas functional experience as well as overseas industry experience and innovation performance is not an intermediary role.According to the findings of this study,the following suggestions are put forward: the GEM listed companies can appropriately hire with overseas experience,especially with overseas export type functional experience and multi industry overseas work experience.Enterprises can improve the innovation performance by increasing the cost of R & D investment.
