| In the context of service economy, with the people’s pursuit of quality of life and the accelerated pace of life, consumers prefer a self-service model which is convenient. At the same time, with the continuous popularization of self-service model, some self-service systems are exposed to many usability problems. Thus, the paper takes the university student self-service as a research object, based on the usability evaluation and service quality, In order to propose a set of methods and procedures for the analysis and evaluation of student self-service laundry service system in Chinese universities. In addition, based on the emerging technologies of Internet of thing, large data and mobile Internet, the paper redesign the university student self-service laundry system, in order to provide a better washing experience.Firstly, based on the analysis of existing university students’self-service laundry system, the paper summarizes the existing literatures of usability literature and service quality. Combining with the actual characteristics of university student self-service laundry service system and user feedback, this paper constructs the usability evaluation index system of college student self-service laundry service system from the angle of products and services, and makes the modification and optimization of system usability evaluation index system through user questionnaire survey and expert group discussion. Then, the paper uses the Likert scale method to design the system usability evaluation index as the customer satisfaction scoring questionnaire. A questionnaire survey was carried out among 15 universities in Shanghai, Nanjing and Changzhou to collect the users’ self-service laundry service system usability data. Then, based on multivariate linear regression method, the paper use SPSS software calculates the data of user survey. By establishing the mapping relationship between usability index and user satisfaction, the usability evaluation model of self-service laundry service system was constructed, and the validity of the usability evaluation model was verified. Finally, based on the field investigation and SET analysis, this paper puts forward eight user needs pain points for the design of university student self-service laundry service system, and puts forward the design strategy to solve these eight problems. From the system service flow, Self-service washing machine and self-service laundry APP three aspects, the paper redesigns the college students’self-service laundry service system.The study on the usability of the university student self-service laundry service system breaks the idea of separation of products and services in the traditional research, which validates the important value of the product and service combination design strategy. Moreover, the research method flow also provides the reference for other product service system research. |
