Cheng-Yu Intercity Railway Network Construction Project Feasibility Study

In order to meet the need of transport in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone,which is among the large,medium and small cities as well as the growing-intercity larger town,it is important to construct a safe,environmentally,friendly and efficient rail transportation to accelerate the Chengdu-Chongqing region Towns development in the future.On the base of the feasibility analysis and project management theory,this paper focuses on the feasibility study of Cheng Yu intercity-railway network construction and analyzes the characteristics of economic development and regional transportation needs in the future of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.With the use of project management theories and methods,through the feasibility analysis in both technical and economic aspects,and solve the problems in the environment,the economy,technology and other aspects that may be encountered during the construction of inter-city railway network in Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone,a constructive program and conclusions can be ultimately achieved.The main content is divided into three parts.First,it illustrates the feasibility study of project management by objectives concerning ChengYu intercity railway network construction.By collecting the status about the socio-economic and traffic situation in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone,the systematic study and analysis of economic trends as well as the features of traffic demand,and the identification and analysis of the projects,to understand their interest-demand and influence,specifically related responsibilities,and it forms a viable management strategy.Secondly,this paper has concentrated on the study about the technical feasibility of the ChengYu intercity railway network construction and systematic project.Through the technical feasibility together with the qualitative and quantitative study,this paper weighs the pros and cons,construction standards and interoperability of investment scale,and it scientifically recommends rational construction scale of the project as well as the implementation of technical standards,aiming to provide a reference for subsequent economic feasibility study.Economic feasibility studies are the key to the successful implementation of the project.By calculation and analysis of the national economy and the cost-effectiveness and financial feasibility analysis,this paper has an illustration about the total investment of the project,operating costs,net present value,profitability analysis shows,and etc.A comparation is made between the social values of the project and the social resources it takes when implementing this project.Through demonstration,project is proved to be feasible in the macroeconomics.The construction project of Cheng Yu intercity railway network will lay the leading role of the intensive transportation in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.It can also reduce the time and space among the region,and guide the key points to economic development to improve the space-gathering of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone,and strengthen the radiation-function of the center-city to improve accessibility level in the overall areas.An efficient,environmentally friendly,"people-oriented" regional intercity railway network is of great significance for the promotion of integration and the process of urbanization in Chengdu-Chongqing economy,meeting the demand of intercity traffic and logistics,improve the regional integrated transport system and other aspects.
