Performance appraisal is widely used in domestic and abroad.It is an important tool for the enterprises for effective management,which is a good method for enterprises to achieve the strategic goals and scientific management.Currently,domestic tourism is in the period of rapid development.The tourism industry grow very fast,at the same time,people increase the demand for high quality tourism products.Many companies focus on developing high quality tourism products with a lot of energy.But the management of the companies stay in a stage of daily attendance statistics,salary accounting and personnel recruitment management,etc.The positive effectiveness of the role of performance appraisal for the employees is not obvious.As the competitive of the tourism market increase fiercely,which require the companies to speed up to establish the appraisal system for scientific management.Through the performance appraisal to achieve the strategic goals of the enterprises,enlarge the overall efficiency and the core competitiveness for the enterprises.This thesis is based on the performance appraisal for the researching of the middle mangers in W travel group,which analyzed the current performance appraisal comprehensively.W tourism group is a privately owned enterprise locating in AnQing city,which integrate the services of tourism,hotel,dining,shopping,and the sales of arts and crafts.Facing the strategy and the goals of the group implement inadequately,the low efficiency of the group and the incentive effect is not obvious,the performance appraisal need to make adjustment.As there are problems exist in the departments,the author tries to research the performance evaluation for the middle managers by deep interview,reviewing the data and visiting related employees.By reviewing the theory of performance evaluation,try to break down the organizational goal by different levels.Considering with the actual condition,redesign the indicators for performance evaluation of the middle managers by using the KPI.Through standardizing the procedure for performance evaluation,and making full use of the evaluation result to optimize the performance appraisal for the middle managers.Using the KPI is the impartant part for this thesis.The main research significance of this thesis is that through the redesign of the performance evaluation of the middle managers in W travel group to simplify the direction of the middle managers to make efforts,which have strong practical significance to improve the performance evaluation.The problems of performance evaluation for the middle managers existed in W travel group are frequently occurred in other tourism companies.Deeping research W travel group as an example can be used as reference for other companies,which is useful for the industry to improve the performance evaluation.To adjust the performance appraisal system of the middle managers need a period of time,and some of the KPI need to be double-check in the work to modify.The author will continually pay close attention on the development of this group,and modify the performance evaluation system gradually to improve the efficiency.
