Research On Airlines Strategic Performance Management System Based On Balanced Scorecard Theory

With the development of economic globalization and air transport liberalization, the competition in the air transport market is sharpening. For airlines, the scientific strategic planning and effective strategy implementation have become crucial to seek survival and development in the fierce market competition. The strategy-oriented performance management is an important means and driving force for the airlines to implement strategy effectively and achieve strategic objectives. In order to provide the theoretical basis and methods instruction for the airlines, promote the strategy execution and facilitate the accomplishment of strategic objectives, the paper comprehensively used a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method, a combination of specification analysis and case analysis method to research the issue of the airlines' strategic performance management system.Firstly, this paper summarized existing research about strategic performance management and the related theory about the strategic management, performance management and balanced scorecard, defined the concepts of strategy implementation and strategic performance management, and analyzed the existing problems of strategy implementation and performance management in the domestic airlines. Secondly, combined with the airline industry characteristics,this paper proposed airline strategic performance evaluation index system with balanced scorecard and adopted the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on analytic network process. On this basis, the complete management system of airline strategy performance was built. Finally, the X airline was studied to validate the strategic performance management system.
