Study On The R&D Process Management Applicaiton On Orthopedic Manufacture Enterprise

With the rapid development of Chinese economy, medical and health care investment increased year by year. Domestic orthopedic medical industry developed rapidly. In 2013, gross domestic orthopedic medical industry production had reached 13 billion yuan. The growth speed of orthopedic industry is far more than other industries. However, compared to the products from Europe and Unite States, the quality of domestic orthopedic medical devices still has a considerable gap. The low capacity of R&D is the main reason, but imperfect R&D management can't be ignored, which lead to domestic products at a low level in the marked and lacking competitiveness.Currently, most domestic enterprises still carry out developing with traditional way and model, which is difficult to meet the needs of modern enterprises. Such as, project approval out of control, lack of market survey caused product cannot meet the needs of market, lack of project management caused project delay or lost the best time to market. Therefore, enhancing the ability of R&D of domestic enterprises has become very urgent.Paper compared the status quo of R&D between domestic and foreign enterprises and pointed five serious problems about R&D in domestic orthopedic companies, namely,(1) new R&D project is not clear;(2) R&D project lack prospective, new product break away from market;(3) the results gap of expect and reality is big;(4) R&D process deviate from schedule;(5) R&D process lack of management.To solve above problems, combining the R&D characteristics of orthopedic products, paper put forward the idea to construct a new R&D platform. New platform includes two parts: new project review platform and the center of R&D trial-manufacture. Project review platform construct based on network. Project approval, evaluation, maturity analysis, risk management are all completed on the network platform. R&D center focus on managing new product design, manufacture process, testing, etc and establishing a complete set of R&D process.R&D platform will effectively improve the ability of orthopedic enterprises and have a far-reaching significance to domestic companies.
