Supply Chain Finance In The Shipbuilding Industry Application And Research On Credit Risk Management

Shipbuilding as a typical capital-intensive industry, its development is inseparable from the support of financial institutions in the back, especially after the 2008 financial crisis facing. We should make use of the development opportunities from linkage of the financial industry, break the limitations, and accelerate development. Through the supply chain finance application, on the one hand we can resolve the plight of shipbuilding financing, on the one hand but also expand the bank's business. And because the supply chain finance approach could strengthen the cooperation and linkages of the parties, we can reduce the financing risks, reaching a multi-win situation.With the recovery of shipbuilding industry, China's shipbuilding industry will have a higher manufacturing costs, and financing needs will increase. However, because of the lack of modern risk management tools and systems, relevant companies have a weak risk management. Meanwhile, the research on the supply chain finance of shipbuilding industry is too little, Therefore, a reference for other areas of risk management, can be a good solution to the problem of shipbuilding supply chain finance, could promote the overall development of the shipbuilding industry.Based on the characteristics of supply chain finance, this paper analyzes the credit risk identification and measurement methods of supply chain finance of shipbuilding industry, and summarize the risk factors, then propose appropriate control methods and suggestions for improvement. During credit risk measurement, this paper summarizes a series of supply chain finance credit risk indicators, explores how to use the principal component analysis and regression method to measure supply chain financial risk.Papers put forward specific suggestions on improving supply chain finance shipbuilding credit risk management. We hope could be a reference for credit risk management of the development of China's shipbuilding industry supply chain finance, hoping to help Chinese banks to better control the supply chain and further promote the applications of supply chain financial in China's shipbuilding enterprises in corporate finance.
