Study On Performance Evaluation Of Open Innovation Platform Based On The Internet

No matter in era of the industrial revolution marked by steam, or in era of Internet marked by knowledge, innovation has always been engine and power what promote the development of economy. On the NPC and CPPCC in 2015, Premier Li Keqiang put "Internet plus" program into government work report, which marks the advent of the new face of our country's economic development. On the background of economic field changes a lot, promoting the deep integration between enterprise's technology innovation and Internet, and establishing open innovation based on the Internet, is not only the inherent requirement to adapt to the national strategy for China's enterprises, but also an inevitable choice to fulfill the mission of the times.In the open innovation based on the Internet, innovation is not a simple linear process, but a process of network where participants and various innovative elements permeate and interact mutually. If the closed innovation is the cornerstone of the industrial age, which relies on internal resources and R & D team to make a car by shutting themselves up in a room, so the open innovation is a new direction of " Internet plus" era, which relies on mass innovation and democratic power to collect the wisdom.This study starts from the rising background of open innovation based on internet. It established a relatively systematic performance evaluation system for the new type of innovation paradigm. This paper is mainly divided into three parts: literature review, index building and case analysis.In the part of literature review, it evaluated and summarized several major research results by domestic and foreign scholars, including open innovation, open innovation based on the Internet, open innovation based on the Internet performance evaluation. At the same time of taking the essence part, it found the shortcomings. And it formed the guiding ideology and logic frame according to research results above.In the part of index building, this study discussed in detail the necessity and the importance of building performance evaluation system of open innovation based on the Internet. It also described explicitly building principles, steps and design ideas involved in, and make detailed explanation to each index.In the part of case analysis, this study used the single case study method. It selected Haier Hope platform which is a leading Internet innovation platform for in-depth analysis and investigation. It evaluated Hope platform performance using the established index system, and gave some suggestions on how to improve the platform performance further.
