This paper makes research on problem solving for aftersales product in T Automotive Company. The purpose is to improve customer satisfaction and to solve the issues more quickly. The research is focus on the efficiency of problem solving, and also analyzes the quality tools that are used in the quality improvement process.Firstly, this paper makes study about the market characteristic of aftersales product both in domestic and foreign nations. With the current situation of automobile industry and quality control status, the main purpose for this paper is introduced, that is how to use the correct method and quality tools to take the quality control and problem solving. Base on the warranty data from T Auto Company, the top issue is chose as the priory to be solved. Specially, the process of problem solving is also very important, the paper make analysis of the Red X method in the application of the principle of improving the quality of parts.Then, the paper takes the vehicle noise issue from aftersales product as an example, analyzes the various factors related to customer complaints with the process of problem analysis and identified areas for improvement. Red-X method is be used to look for the root cause of the issues. The steps of Red-X method are: problem definition, project definition, strategy analysis, measurement system analysis, verification and comparison, find Red X features, verification of Red X, to make quantitative analysis on the characteristics of influence of noise, finally to get the root cause of the issues to reduce customer complaints, improve customer satisfaction.Finally, in the view of the current situation of automotive aftersales market, the paper puts forward some ideas and suggestions for product quality improvement and control in future.
