With China's economic reform in the last 30 year, Chinese economy becomes the second-largest one in the world, while China's affluent population surging rapidly and its wealth management requirements increasing strong. At the same time, along with the deepening of domestic financial reform, policy continues to maintain a liberal orientation, which provides an important condition to deepen the reform of China's private banking business.Private banking business in our country has got a greater achievement.However, the young Chinese private banks are also facing various challenges. Due to the lack of an independent product system and a mature profit model, private banks have not yet separated from the traditional commercial banking business model, still with a clear "retail" characteristics. With the development of Internet financial, such as brokerage, trust, fund, insurance and other non-bank financial institutions have set foot in the high-end financial markets, carving up this market.Z bank, Jiangxi Province, has a long history, the development of private banking business earlier, but it does not have a competitive advantage, business development is not good. The origin and development of the private banking business development perspective, on the basis of the theory of financial innovation, explains that the private banking is a financial innovation business. Then, the article from the management environment, organization mode, profit mode and service content four aspects to analyze the differences of the private banking business at home and abroad. Combined with the development of Z bank in Jiangxi Province, the SWOT analysis of the problem helps to study its own development of innovation strategy in order to seek leapfrog development in the competition.
