In recent years, the research on uncertain information and fuzzy information has made remarkable progress, and has gained a lot of research achievements in all aspects. Order interval number is a type of structure which can express uncertain preference information very well, especially for group decision making with uncertainty. However, from the overall point of view the study of the interval ordinal number is relatively small, both in terms of theory or methods have yet to be further studied. In this paper, the method of group decision making based on Ordinal Interval preference information is studied. The main research contents are reproduced below.(1) We introduced the application of three parameters interval preference in group decision making by combining with preference ratings dominance correlation coefficient. We made consistency between experts as high as possible to determine the experts’ relative importance weights. By using the negative ideal comparison method, the order interval is transformed into fuzzy number which is easy to be taken up. Using examples of three parameters interval preference are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the method that proposed.(2) The concept of four parameter interval preferences is proposed based on the three parameter interval preference order. In addition, this paper improves the insufficient of weight vector determining model with three parameter interval preferences. We select the positive and negative ideal solutions, and calculate the distances of each interval preference orderings to the positive and negative ideal solutions, respectively, based on which we use a TOPSIS based approach to rank and select the alternatives.(3) by considering additional risk factors, we put forward this concept of risk virtual Ordinal Interval, and defined risk virtual Ordinal Interval algorithms, part of the operator. We also defined the distance between risk virtual ordinal intervals. After that, by using the arithmetic weighted average operator, a method of calculating the weight vector is obtained, and then the TOPSIS method is utilized to make a decision in the case of considering the risk.
