A wide body of literatures have been related to relationship between productivity and enterprises' export behavior in the framework of heterogeneous firm trade theory; besides, many literatures also research on the relationship between informationization and enterprises' export behavior in this background of Internet Era. However, scholars seldom take productivity and informationization into account simultaneously to study their influence on firms'export behavior and the relationship between themselves. Accordingly, this paper investigates the relationship among Informationizatiom Productivity and Export Behavior:Firstly, basing on the model of Melitz (2003) we invite informationization in the framework of heterogeneous firm trade theory. Through the model we preliminarily investigate the informationization's effects via increasing Fix Costs and decreasing Sunk Costs on firms'behavior. Accordingly, we put forward three propositions:the higher the productivity is, the higher probability of realizing informationization is; Informationization promotes firms'export behavior; The promotion effects of informationization are more obvious on higher productivity firms. Then we verify the propositions by using database of Chinese industrial enterprises among year 2004 to year 2007. The empirical conclusions are as follow:(1) Taking informationization as the dependent variable and using Probit model, we find high-productivity firms have higher probability to realize informationization and this tendency is more obvious in non-eastern China. (2) Taking export tendency and export volume as the dependent variables and using Propensity Score Matching model, we find informationization can promote Chinese firms' export behavior when other conditions are fixed. (3) Taking export tendency and export volume as the dependent variables and placing interactive term of productivity and informationization into the empirical model, we find the influence of internet on export behavior changes with the productivity-the higher productivity the firm has, the stronger influence the internet will have; These conclusions are still valid if we change measures of high-productivity and low-productivity.Overall, this paper combines informationization which is vitally important in this Internet Era and heterogeneous firm trade theory together, then verify that productivity is an important factor to affect firms'informationization behavior and informationization affects firms' especially high-productivity firms'export behavior. Therefore, Chinese enterprises should take full advantage of internet and make sure that the product information transmit in time. Only in that way can the firms develop in a healthy international market which could reach the "survival of fittest". All the above findings help Chinese firms recognize the role of internet in the market especially the international market. This paper not only provide theory evidence for firms and governments to exploit internet, also provide reference for them to make corresponding policies.
