In recent year, information construction has a qualitative leap with the rapid development of the port operations, expanding the scale of the port, quality requirement of the customer and subsidiary company of the information provided by X company is higher and higher, X company must improve their ability in business and management in order to meet the changing demand and expectation and achieving customer satisfaction.X company had passed ISO9001 audit, X company based on the standard of GB/ T19001-2008 idt ISO9001:2008 "Quality Management System Requirements", combined with the actual situation of the company, developed a "Quality Manual", as the regulatory and programmatic document of the company's quality management system, but in the quality certification found that the current project management is still exposed some problems, in the management of training management, project monitoring, risk management, requirements management, quality management and configuration management, the management is relatively weak.This paper starts from the idea of CMMI process improvement, taking the D project of X company as an example, the practical problems encountered in the management through the D project, analyze the root cause of these problems.
