The Research On Price Determination Of P2P Online Lending Platform

As an main Internet financial form, P2P network lending has developed rapidly in recent years. Since the scientific pricing is the foundation of the sustainable development of the P2P network lending, research on the P2P network lending pricing has important practical significance. According to the literature, I use the comparative analysis method and build the Hotelling model to conduct the thorough research on the platform pricing.This paper is divided into six parts. The first chapter is the introduction. In this chapter I elaborate the background and significance of this issue. And I also summarize the domestic and foreign research results, which include the P2P lending platform, operation mode, pricing model, the innovation and drawbacks. The second chapter is about the present situation of the P2P lending platform and the pricing mode in China. I analyze the P2P lending platform's status quo, and focus on the issue about the product-pricing mode in the aspects of the credit system and the human capital cultivation. In the third chapter, I do the comparative analysis of the P2P lending platform pricing modes at home and abroad, and make perditions to the development trend of the P2P lending platform. In the fourth chapter I use the Hotelling model analyze the P2P lending platform pricing issue. I discuss the pricing equilibria with the presence of the externality factors under different circumstance. My findings are that the way to determine the credit interest rate, the pricing of the platform and the revenue of the platform are different under different assumptions. In the last part of this thesis, I make some predictions to the pricing trend of the P2P lending platform. I encourage the development of the big data credit, and has the vision of the P2P industry. I make some policy suggestions from the aspect of the public.
