Qingshui was once the first nursery stock market in Anhui, but now it is declining. Based on this situation, the author embarks from the facts, did a careful and detailed investigation of status of Qingshui nursery stock production.By summarizing and analyzing the status, we found that nursery stock industry in Qingshui has superior natural conditions, unique regional advantages, good social and economic bases, long seedling cultivation ad management history, and good foundation of nursery stock industry, etc. But there are also insufficient such as low seedling planting scale, big costs of land circulation, imperfect nursery stock industry chain function, poor infrastructure, imperfect market circulation system, not enough variety innovation and technical support.According to these situations, this article; puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures in aspects of production, marketing, scientific research, management, the government. First, adjust the planting scale, set up corresponding seedling production cooperatives; second, carry out land circulation actively, improve the level of scale and standardization; third, extend flowers and trees industry chain, strengthen construction of the flowers and trees market, marketing network, distribution channels and professional logistics; fourth, construct flowers and trees market with scale and influence, perfect the information service platform, build modern flowers and trees information platform and professional social management system, create distinctive brand products; fifth, develop and revitalize of the nursery stock industry in Qingshui by perfecting industry development environment, organization, management and industrial policy, etc.
