Bank of Dalian, as the regional commercial bank, still exists a big gap compared to the large joint-stock banks in the asset size and risk resisting ability. The impact of the economic cycle and the volatility of the financial market is more significant. In recent years, it has put forward more urgent requirements for the credit risk management with the rapid increase in the credit risk of Bank of Dalian. Credit examination and approval process control the credit risk of access gateway, therefore to strengthen the credit approval management research; to enhance the ability to resist credit risk and to protect the healthy and sustainable development of Bank of Dalian which have great practical significance.This thesis consists of six parts:the first chapter is the introduction. The second chapter is a summary of the relevant theory of the commercial bank credit examination and approval management; The third chapter introduces the basic situation of the credit approval management of commercial banks. The fourth chapter analyzes the existing problems in the management of credit approval of Bank of Dalian. The fifth chapter concerns the problems in the credit examination and approval management of Bank of Dalian, and at the same time puts forward the solution measures. The sixth chapter is the conclusion.There are three key points in this thesis:firstly, the thesis focuses on the problem of extensive credit management of group customers and studies how to standardize the customer credit management of group customers through the customer types, standardized credit way and optimized approval management mechanism. Secondly, it aims at the credit director of the system supporting measures which is not complete and researches how to improve to strengthen the supervision and approval process of credit director approval authority, improving credit management system and the management of the vertical management of credit approval. Thirdly, it focuses on the lack of effective management of the credit review staff and studies of how to strengthen the access management through the implementation of hierarchical management and the improvement of the assessment system to strengthen the credit review personnel management and to improve the overall quality of credit review.The innovation of this thesis is mainly manifested in three aspects:first, according to the single problem of the classification of the standard, the writer bases on the original control of equity the classification of the group's customer's organization and management structure integrity and group parent subsidiary corporate control ability of two categories, and also divides the original two categories of customers into four groups of customers, so that the group's customer classification becomes more refined; Second, because of the group customer credit management is sub-standardized, it designs "unified usage", "distribution quota", "batch approval" and "unified monitor" four kinds of credit, defining variety of the methods of the using rules, and filling the gap in sub-standardized management of group customer credit. Third, it aims at the lack of supervision and management of the credit director and establishes a review mechanism to make up for the regulatory loopholes, improved the credit director approval decision-making rationality.
