| With the revitalization of the old northeast industrial base policy continues and the development of the economy of Jilin province, the small and medium-sized companies have play an important role in proving the increasing of Jilin’s economy, developing of the market, and increasing the jobs. But many small and medium-sized companies have problems in operating because of the lack of internal control. And it will limit the companies’ expending and the developing of the economy of Jilin.In order to solve the problems of internal control in a small company in Jilin, I finished the article by case study. I investigated the company to know how the company works and find the problems in its internal control and put forward the solutions.According to the research in T Company, I found its internal control has some problems, such as business management cronyism, lack of effective risk assessment,ineffective supervision and so on. Then I analysis the problems and found out the cause list below: corporate governance structure is not standardized; the managers have no enough knowledge of internal control; establishment of the internal control system is difficult; not enough emphasis on corporate culture and so on. Finally, according to the findings of the study and knowledge of internal control, I summarized and presented several improved method for T Company, such as improving the internal control environment; establish and improve the risk assessment system; establish a sound internal control activities; strengthen information exchange and communication and so on. At last, I hope to provide T Company some solutions of the internal control problems. |
