Establish an innovation system that should be business-oriented, market-oriented, also combine industry, school, and research institute. It is a necessary factor if nowadays industries and companies want to own long-term development. It is very important for technology innovation strategies' implementation that companies take which collaboration R&D network patterns. Cultivate enterprises to be the main character of technology innovation, we should reform the resources input mode, and the strategy of net cowork.Between collaboration R&D network, each main role is not isolated, the collaboration R&D patterns are imperfect either, so there are many factors impact innovation efficiency.Therefore, it is meaningful to discuss high-efficiency collaboration R&D network patterns whether exist significant structural features or not, both in theory and reality.There are many studies between enterprises' collaboration R&D and performance. Most researchers regard collaboration R&D network leds R&D activities' economies of scale, low-cost and high performance. Collaboration R&D rely on structural features which depends on different coworkers' resource share ability and motion that affects efficiency. Different collaboration R&D patterns have different impact on innovation performance in study for the following reasons. Firstly, the research perspectives and objects are different, the types of collaboration is diversity.Secondly, researchers measure R&D performance differently.Many papers study network position, performance separately, but few involve collaboration R&D network patterns. It has both theoretical and practical significance for enterprise increase competitive advantage, to specify which collaboration R&D network patterns are good to increase technology innovation efficiency. So, this article raise hypothesis involve network position and technology innovation efficiency, establish automotive-industry collaboration R&D network, study network position using social network analysis(SNS), calculate technology innovation efficiency using data envelopment analysis(DEA),and verify the hypothesis. Finally summed up four collaboration R&D network patterns on the basis of network position using multidimensional scaling analysis(MDS), and explore the relationship between collaboration R&D network patterns and technology innovation efficiency.The results suggest that network centrality, intermediary position, network density and rechefficiency have positive impacts on tehnology innovation efficiency, And the high-efficiency collaboration R&D network patterns exist significant position features.On the basis of the result, this article summed up four types of collaboration R&D network patterns, discuss the relationship between different collaboration patterns and technology efficiency.
